Today at the Indiana Comic-Con, fan Liz Guadiana met Jason Momoa, who will play Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Momoa was there signing autographs and Guadiana brought an Aquaman poster for him to sign. “Can you write down a reason why all these DC haters out there should join our DC universe?”, she asked the actor.
Momoa’s answer? “F**k Marvel”, as you can see in the photo above.

I love (and prefer) DC Comics but this is dumb. The world is big enough for both.. the competition should be good spirited.
Not to mention that at this point, the score (so far as movies are concerned) is Marvel – 479 : DC – 3

That may be the case, but Momoa saying “F**k Marvel” is kinda like Colin Kapernick saying “F**k The New England Patriots.” I think DC has to win a few more battles in the theatre before any of their actors can actually do some trash talking.

So it’s okay for Anthony to say, “DC has nothing on us”, Jackson to say, ” DC doesn’t have awesome heroes and just SOME interesting bad guys” and for Robert Downey Jr. to say “DC comics should fuck off” but it’s not okay for Momoa to WRITE “Fuck Marvel” on a fan poster who asked for something in regards to DC haters just because Marvel has more movies. Genius logic you got there.

No, I think it’s all really stupid. We’re just talking about Momoa right now.
The only difference is that Marvel is winning the film war right now and those Marvel folks can at least point at the scoreboard. It’s still stupid, though.

Agreed. Apologies then. I just don’t agree with people like the guy below who have a problem with Momoa’s SIGNATURE on a FAN POSTER but are completely okay or somehow forget RDJ actually said “DC Comics should fuck off”.

This is the first time I’ve really seen actors behave this way against the competition with profanity. I suppose this is telling about a persons character. While actors like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Chris Pratt are doing charity -actors like Jason are using profanity to stir fan wars. I’m sure this is NOT what WB or DC want from their actors behaving as. What kind of role model is that? Seriously, I’m glad he passed on Drax -I wouldn’t want an actor of his character in the Marvel camp. This whole fan war is just stupid but it’s even more so when the actors get involved. Keep it friendly, guys.

Lol. Imo Momoa is just getting into character for Aquaman. Many hardcore fans of Marvel or DC, even some actors, already do this in blogs anyway.
