We know that Hugh Jackman, director James Mangold and writer Michael Green are all working on the next Wolverine movie, and now we can throw another name in the mix as well – Patrick Stewart. Yes, Charles Xavier will appear in the upcoming film and not just as a cameo.
Here’s what Stewart told Steve when he asked if the rumors about his involvement and the Old Man Logan story are true: “I think what you say is true. There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me.”
He also specifically addressed the Old Man Logan arc by joking: “And the idea of an old Wolverine – I’m really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I’m hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he’ll make me look better if that’s the case.”
