Report: ‘Birds of Prey’ takes place in a Batman-less Gotham City

According to Deadline, Birds of Prey takes place in a Gotham City that “isn’t protected by Batman”. Scooper @DanielRPK has heard that there’s a line in the script that mentions Batman hasn’t been seen in Gotham for two years.
