According to That Hashtag Show, Warner Bros. is interested in Mission: Impossible – Fallout director Christopher McQuarrie for Green Lantern Corps. McQuarrie has also written and directed action movies like Jack Reacher and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
One of the problems these DC movies have is out of control budgets. You don’t hear that criticism too much because people are stupid and think digitally removed mustaches are the problem. If BvS and JL had reasonable budgets things might’ve been a little different.
Point is there’s no way WB can do an GLC movie on a reasonable budget.
