If you’re watching a Marvel movie, there’s a strong likelihood you’ll be gifted with a Stan Lee cameo at some point. Since X-Men was released in 2000, Lee has popped up in nearly every one of the Marvel movies, from Marvel Cinematic Universe entries to stories tackled by other studios. Of the 28 live action Marvel cameos he’s made so far, Lee’s favorite is his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he recently revealed that the reason he likes it so much is because he scored extra screen time. Lee said:
“The thing I loved about that cameo is, if you think about it, that is the only cameo I’ve done that had two scenes. It was more than a cameo. It was almost like a role in the movie! So now I’m shooting for cameos that have three scenes, four scenes. Eventually I hope to be the co-star.”

Gonna have to CGI the hell out of him for the fight scenes.

Guess a mere cameo isn’t enough to fill his ego anymore.

Sure, but after seeing him get credit for what wasn’t his creation, and getting so many distracting and off-putting cameos time and time again (The Amazing Spider-Man cameo, while the most distracting, is literally the only one I can think off that’s worth a damn. That and maybe Spider-Man 2, that’s it).

Frankly, don’t quite remember his Spider-Man and Xmen cameos…
His GotG2 cameo was one of the worst for me. At least it blew up in the face of the stupid fanboys who actually thought Marvel would ever make the asinine decision to make his character actually a watcher or the One Above All…0 likes-
Oh yeah, I remember now. Those are not bad either I guess, not that distracting, but I guess that was before his ego blew up with Marvel’s super hero movie renassaince.

He has a contract to appear in every movie about a marvel character he “created”. He also sued Marvel for not giving him money for movies and tv and whatnot, despite him not doing jackshit, he fucked Kirby in the ass, even though he was much more creative and did most of what Stan claims he invented, and gets a lot of credit for what others did in general (artists back in the day were much more responsible for coming up with ideas than today). I don’t mind the man, but it is definitely ego. He’s a superstar nowadays, and gets a ton of credit for not doing much.

Sure, but it’s really not hard to figure out that he does have a very inflated ego and definitely likes to take credit for what wasn’t mainly his creations. It’s just sad to see things like this happening.
