Because of that, Variety reporter Justin Kroll says Suicide Squad 2 is no longer shooting this year. Warner Bros. is hoping to get fans excited for Bargirl by introducing her in Birds of Prey, much like Marvel did with Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War.
