Ralph Breaks the Internet earned another $25.8 million North America in its second weekend of domestic release. That’s a somewhat harsh 54% drop from last weekend’s $56.2m Fri-Sun frame which still gives the Walt Disney animated sequel a $119.3m 12-day total. Comparatively, Coco fell 45% in its second weekend ($27.5m) last year while Moana fell 50% ($28.2m) on the same frame in 2016. For that matter, apples and oranges perhaps, but Toy Story 2 earned $27.7m in 1999 for a 51% drop. The good news is that it’s essentially a drop on par with Frozen (-53% and $31m in 2013) and obviously a better hold than The Good Dinosaur (-60% in 2015).
