Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4) has inspired a lot of terrific fan images (mostly Spider-selfies) and videos. A video from YouTube user USNIM is getting a lot of well-deserved attention for giving the game a trailer in the style of Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The clip selections are spot on for Homecoming‘s tone. If only he’d switched to the Stark Suit for this video, it’d be perfect!

I actually disagree. I don’t think Spiderman Homecoming is well made. I thinks it generic as hell, and quite unoriginal, boring and predictable. It’s a pale imitation of the comic book character and the textbook definition of mediocre. Holland is fine but he’s too kiddy, too well off. He has no real struggle outside his Spiderman persona because everything is given to him.
“I would trade it in for Spider-Man 4 in a heartbeat”. Holy shit, you have no idea how much I agree with this statement. Personally I’d give the film a 5/10 because it’s nothing but average. Had it not been for the Vulture this movie would have been very sub par. It’s funny that Batman of all people elevates a Spiderman film above being below average.

Stark 2.0. Did you watch Into the Spiderverse? Because imo both Peter Parker Spidermen in that film are what MCU Spiderman should have been. And yes, PS4 Spiderman is an infinitely better character than MCU Spiderman.
This year has really highlighted how awful MCU Spiderman is imo. Both iterations of the character outside the MCU where better in every way. MCU Spiderman just just feels like a pale, boring and uninteresting character in comparison.
