He had been working out of Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, a location newly familiar to Marvel Studios fans, as it is where Brie Larson went to do research for Captain Marvel just a couple months ago.
Maj. Del Bagno worked as a consultant on the film and was one of Larson’s advisors as she prepped to play the titular Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot. Tonight, Marvel Studios and Larson are remembering a man who served his country, and was a member of their team.
