She actually gave Feige his first producing job (associate producer) on 2000’s X-Men. Shuler Donner has continued to produce the X-Men franchise while Feige has led Marvel Studios to unprecedented success.
It comes as no surprise that the original believer in Feige would be excited to work with him again in the wake of Disney purchasing the majority of Fox. Prior to the $52.4 billion deal, she already told Vanity Fair that she would love to work with Feige again, but now hypothetical scenarios are beginning to feel inevitable. We do not know when or how, but The Avengers and the X-Men will be together on the big screen.
