According to Deadline, Warner Bros. is looking to hire a female director for Supergirl, which we just learned was in development last week. In addition, scooper @DanielRPK says that they are also looking for a female director for Batgirl. Joss Whedon was originally going to write and direct that movie, but he dropped out earlier this year.

Isn’t that sexist? So instead of practicing equality, we just practice counter-inequality. Is that how we really want to be, humanity? We all know that really isn’t the ideal.
